In 2017 this family-run hotel near Bressanone (IT) underwent major renovation and extensions, with an entire restyling. 16 new suites, the new pool and wellness area, directly on the small natural lake “Flötscher Weiher” correspond with the new design and management concept: to place nature and the recreational value as the point of focus.

The concept of the new -Explorer's Home- transfers the athletic spirit of the owner family to the entire building... From building to landscape: the design celebrates the evolutionary transformation of an originally compact building - into a layered structural landscape that sustainably reflects its surroundings... the house brings nature into the house.

Within the high density of tables in the restaurant, the curve structure which creates the separation between two tables comes down from the ceiling, just like a big fishing net covering the whole space, forming the landscape of people eating, drinking and laughing.
Continue readingThe design concept of this facility is to have you spend an elegant time in a quiet bamboo forest and to get rid of your daily stress. To create an extraordinary space, we have placed a dome-shaped tent with a subdued color, a cotton tent with a gel-like atmosphere, and a tree house with the image of a giraffe. As a result, all tents have been well received for their calmness and distinctive furniture in animal-named tents.

The award's design represents the transformation of a Pawn into a Queen, as a recognition of the player's progress in chess. The award consists of two flat figures, the Queen and the Pawn, which are inserted into each other due to narrow slots forming a single cup. The award design is durable thanks to stainless steel and is convenient for transportation to the winner by mail.
